The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn denies possible decrease of budgetary indicators after parliamentary elections.
"I can hardly imagine that the Cabinet of Ministers, having announced budget benchmarks at its meeting, will reduce them later," said V. Lytvyn answering the journalists? questions on Thursday.
The Head of the Parliament is convinced that financial indicators of the budget can only increase.
He reminded that the Head of the State, Members of the Government and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada had discussed at meetings and consultations the idea of making budget-2013 the budget of development. V. Lytvyn noted also that it is the question of increasing social payments to the categories "that are badly in need of it."
He believes that the indicator of GDP growth could be discussed considering the fact that Ukraine as an economically open state depends on the trends in economic processes.
"The rest are just groundless suggestions," added V. Lytvyn.
V. Lytvyn denied also the predictions concerning the collapse of national economy after the elections and noted that the Government is working as planned, and all expenses "correspond to the plan."
